Watershed Signs

146 signs were placed along major streams in the Triad identifying the watershed name and in some cases the individual stream name. These watershed signs serve as a long-term reminder that we are all connected by water.

Drain Markers

Many individuals do not realize that runoff containing various pollutants flows directly into our lakes and streams untreated.  As another component in the continous effort to educate the public about important water related issues, drain markers were purchased in 2005 by members in the partnership. Installation of drain markers on storm drain inlets is a simple and easy task that can be performed by various community organizations.
